There once was a quilt...
...that was made for a certain mother's birthday in the seashore colors she loved. It was put it in a vehicle to take it home and, once arrived, it was discovered that red wine vinegar had spilled on it and bled the colors!
The seam ripper was put to work ripping holes in the top of the quilt. It was a challenge to the quilt-maker and one she had never tackled before.
The mother told her daughter she could just leave the quilt with the colors bleeding on the white, as it "had a story." While this was very sweet, the daughter decided the end of the story would be a quilt without stains!
The End.

Mini Me?
There are 7 uncles, 4 aunts, 3 cousins, 2 sets of grandparents and 1 set of parents Everett could've looked like. Before he was born we debated who he would take after. Would he look like a Hitch or a Wilkie? Would he be big, like Brandon, or little, like Lacey?
Well, he's only been around for 6 weeks but that's long enough to see one certain uncle all over in our new nephew. Mostly we call him Everett, but every once in awhile we can't help but call him...

...little Lucas.
