Spring Recap
May has flown by, and without much road time this month I've fallen behind on blogging! Worse than that, I lost my camera charger and so am suffering for pictures. But I just had to share some of this spring's highlights.
:: Introducing Jae's Ris Key Cat, or "Penny" ::
Our "paint baby" was born a solid sorrel! We still think she's cute and had a lot of fun halter breaking her and letting the little ones sit on her. Penny is Jae's Painted Horses' first baby to be born.

Thanks to Lacey's adventurous willingness in quiltmaking, we discovered a new pattern! This is Everett's quilt for his nursery.

These two delightful girls accompanied me to Rodeo Bible Camp the last weekend in May and I enjoyed them so much. I didn't know Havilah's friend Rilie very well before the trip but I loved having some time to spend with her and watch the girls relate. We had a lot of laughs!
This intricate purple rose blooms for a short while in my garden every year and I always have to take pictures of it before it's gone!
Lacey sent me this picture last week of Everett's bedhead. I love being an aunt!
Robbi had another procedure done the beginning of May and sailed through all the tests, surpassing the doctor's expectations! She is now trach and feeding tube free!
Another colt is on it's way! Reba got bred to JR Colord Rambo, the APHA world champion son of Color Me Smart. We're very excited for our 2011 baby!
1 + 1 = TWINS!
Mardel's new foster baby Zac is just two days older than Robbi...I always wanted twins and now I know why! I can't get enough of these two.
Kenna got a haircut! I don't think she loves me for it but she will when hot weather comes!
"You will make known to me the path of life. In Your presence is fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever." Psalm 16:11

All Growed Up
We got the invitation to my big brother's wedding in the mail yesterday. I was looking at it at the breakfast table this morning and it suddenly occurred to me that my brother's name is written on a wedding invitation. Nicholas Bradford Hitch--yep, there it is. I remember not so many years ago asking Nick how old he'd be when I was twenty and did he think he'd be married? Twenty seemed old...now twenty is young...where'd the time go?!

Just a few years ago Nick was being coerced into kissing his baby sister...

...now he is completely enthralled by his bride...
...and his name is on an official wedding invitation with a date that's fast approaching.
I am so thankful for my big brother...so thankful for his choice in making Brittany Joy my sister-in-law...so thankful for this AMAZING venture he's about to begin as a married man...so very thankful I've watched it all happen from the time he was just a toddler kissing his baby sister.
