So much to do...

...so little time! Blogging has has taken last place on my priority list the last few months, as life has adjusted and changed to keep me busily occupied planning a May wedding! The past ten months have been so amazing as I've fallen in love with Warren Jennings. All of my wildest dreams have been far surpassed and we are both completely overwhelmed with what God has had up His sleeve all this time! It would be impossible to try to describe it all, so I'll just post some of my favorite pictures to share a little about my most excellent fiancĂ©.

Everett's First Birthday

Campfires are Everett's favorite thing so for his first birthday Lacey and
Brandon made a very creative campfire cake! They used melted Jolly
Ranchers for the fire and Twix for the logs, and then toasted
marshmallows to put around it. I contributed with two oversized
s'mores made out of miniature cakes.

Lacey lit a marshmallow on fire for the candle to Everett's s'more cake

Everett was thrilled!

And although we had been practicing blowing out candles, he wasn't
quite sure what to do when the lit marshmallow came toward him.

He wasted no time digging into the cake!

Walking lessons were a hit on his Everett's birthday! He's taken
several consecutive steps before but was even more motivated
when Havilah was offering a marshmallow as a reward.

He's very proud of himself when he walks...

...and he seems to think its fun to have the camera
documenting his success...

...but the best part is finally reaching Havilah...

...and getting his marshmallow reward.

I'm so thankful for the first year Everett's life! I never imagined how much I'd love being an aunt.

Blog Neglect

I've been neglecting my blog lately, not for lack of posting options but for lack of time to post! It's been a very busy fall season and one of the best I can remember.

Mom and we girls got to make a trip to Washington D.C.
and Mt. Vernon in September.  It was so much fun to
have Mardel and Robbi along!

We took a family walk in Franconia Park in New Hampshire. It was beautiful!

Warren and I have gotten to spend a lot of time
together and I love every minute I get to be with him!

A Picture's Worth 1000 Words...

...and while I'm getting caught up on the blogging world I'll let the last thousand un-blogged words be summed up with a picture!

Disney Land!

There's nothing I've enjoyed this summer more than spending time with family and friends! Nick's wedding in California was especially fun with so many members of our family who flew out to witness the day. The fun continued the day after the wedding when a caravan of us went to Disney Land....it was a first for all of us Hitches.

Ice cream like this is only found at Disney!

Having a baby around made the day even better

Havilah had never been on a roller coaster and wasn't too thrilled when we convinced her to try it

Lots of cousins on the roller coaster! Maddy and Steph prepare for the ride.

The lines were long...

...really long...

...so the baby took a nap,

and we took advantage of the time to spend together,

being friends

and making memories...

...while trying not to get wet on a water ride.

And it ended up being a day I'll never forget.
